Looking out of the window
Staring at the stars above
Shining ever so brightly
High above the skies, looking all mighty
Wondering if it will ever be her turn
To shine and to be up there with the rest

Always reaching out for the stars
But always ended up on the moon
And sometimes even back on Earth itself
She kept jumping higher and higher
Only to fall down lower
Only to fall down deeper

Finally she caught hold of a star
Together, they shone brightly
Together, they fly high
Together, they made everything possible
She tried so hard to hold onto it
Only to let it slip away again

Dimmer and dimmer
Her light has become
And slowly she too will fade away
Into the darkness that awaits her
No one will remember her existence
No one will remember that she once shone so brightly

She thought of letting go
She thought of giving up
But the stars above refused to let her
They kept on shining for her
They kept on showing her the way
Leading her away from the darkness

Although she could not always see them
Although she could not always feel them
But the stars were always there
Shining down on her
Supporting her when she falls
Believing in her when no one else would

The stars above will wait for her return
It may take years
It may take months
It may take days
But the stars will never stop shining
They will never let her lose her way

As each of the stars shone
They each represent the same meaning
Reaching for the stars
Is never impossible
All it needed was patience
All it needed was determination

When it's getting harder
When it's getting darker
Every once in a while
A shooting star would pass by
Granting her a wish
Letting her know that she's never alone

The stars never gave up on her
And she shouldn't either
She would once again shine brightly
And make her way up there to be with the rest
For fading away is not an option
Her only way out is to shine

Super emo-ing for the past few days and as usual, writing is my only way out. I'm feeling really sad, exhausted and lost....all at the same time! Anyway, here's just something I wrote in a few minutes.....sorry if it doesn't make sense haha Just wrote down whatever that comes out from my super emo-ing brain hehe I guess in some way, this is an inspiration from a drama that I've currently finished watching hehe Yes, I've found a new drama haha Will write about that in my next post! :)

PS* Mui mui sent me one superb nice song.....it's the chinese version of Beauty and the Beast....I love it tons! So yes, yet again, I've changed the blog song haha Does anyone know who are the singers? It's in chinese and I can't read chinese! :( Tried to google for it but I couldn't find it either. Help, anyone? hehe
